Badugi (the hand)
Mixed-game term
A badugi is four cards with four different ranks and four different suits. The word names the hand as well as the game it comes from.
Repeat a rank or a suit and that card stops playing, leaving a three-card badugi — and any four-card badugi beats any three-card one, however low the three are. The best possible badugi is A-2-3-4, one of each suit.
