Snow

To snow is to stand pat with a hand that cannot win, purely so that it looks like one that can. The bluff is the act of not drawing.

It works because standing pat is public and usually honest. Your opponent watches you take no cards, believes you are already made, and folds a hand that was beating you the whole way.
